Those of you who lived Penn State in the mid to late 70’s probably recall a young rocker at the beginning of his career playing over three hours in Eisenhower Auditorium in February of ’75.
Hot off the release of his third studio album, “Born to Run,” Bruce “The Boss” Springsteen returned to Rec Hall in April of 1976 and tickets sold out at a feverish pace within three hours.
24 years later, Springsteen returned to Happy Valley in 2000, followed by appearances in 2009 and 2012.
Now, invigorated by his October 1980 double LP release, “The River,” which turns 35 this year, Bruce brings the earth-shakin’, noise-makin’ E Street Band back to the Jordan Center April 18 for what promises to be a night you’ll never forget as The Boss takes you “Down To The River.”
