The active Brothers are back in the swing of things at 360 E. Hamilton. For some, it is their first taste of fraternity life at PSU and for others, it is their last hoorah at the Kingdom. Luckily, Chi Phi is for life and we can prove it! A few Alumni Brothers explained what Chi Phi means to them. Look for them this fall, they might be back in town! Show them Chi Phi is in good hands and that the Kingdom is thriving!
Gary Bradford ’88:
“Chi Phi was where I grew up, found my best friends, and took my first steps to where I am now. It gave me a sense of place and belonging. To this day, I credit Chi Phi for meeting my wife and having the family that I enjoy so much.”
John Schultheis ’76:
“My best friends to this day I met at Chi Phi. I have a lot of very good memories from Chi Phi. I think today’s college students should have opportunities like I had to meet great people and develop great memories. And I know that there are many more opportunities that can come from being a positive part of Chi Phi’s future.”
Ken Emkey ‘68
I made great friendships that I still enjoy, even though it has been 48 years since leaving the Kingdom. I only hope others can and will experience the camaraderie and sense of belonging that I did at Chi Phi.

“Chi Phi was a significant part of my college experience. It led to some life-long friendships and I met my wife of 48 years through a brother and a mixer with the Kappa Deltas. Chi Phi enriched my entire life.”
